Happy Core-mas!

For those of you planning on hitting up the First Thursday Art Walk tonight, swing by Core Gallery in the TK building for the holiday group show. Caudled Milk has several older works showing at special holiday prices.

A Separate Peace

The Caudled Milk studio is a disaster area with a liberal carpet of paint and glue stained newspapers, tiny shreds of paper, tubes of paint, and more likely than not an x-acto knife or two. But the show is complete or at least hung and ready for the opening tomorrow night during Pioneer Square's Artwalk. I will be at Core Gallery from 6-9 pm so drop by and see the 14 new pieces in person.

Andalucia

I have been super busy but am excited about hanging my show at Core Gallery tomorrow. Well, hanging most of it; one piece is giving me a bit of sass but I should be done with that tonight. The opening will be this Thursday during Pioneer Square Artwalk.

To Have & Have Not

 

I have been putting the finishing touches on the last few pieces and am now moving into all the prep work for my June show at Core Gallery. To Have & Have Not examines the nature of our relationships and interactions using repeated iconography and historical allegory. The show opens during First Thursday Artwalk and will run throughout the month. Stay tuned for information on a second opening/artist reception.

Core Sample

Emerging from the final push to finish the submission from Slaughterhaus Rose for Brooklyn's very own Art House Co-op Sketchbook Project, I find that Core Gallery (the gallery representing Caudled Milk now) got a mention in City Arts Magazine. The group show will be up for viewing through the end of the month and my solo show will be in June. More on that to come!

Core Gallery

This First Thursday Art Walk stop by Core Gallery, a non-profit art gallery that is now representing my work. The gallery is located at 117 Prefontaine Pl S, Seattle, WA in the TK Arts Building.

Can't make it? No worries; the next night, Fremont First Friday, finds work by Caudled Milk on display at Fremont Abbey in a collage group show.
